HiringReach ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at hiringreach.com and the HiringReach platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information including your payment method details (processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).
Profile and resume data
When you use the Service, you may provide your resume, work history, target roles, and other career-related information. This data is used to personalize your outreach, analyze your resume, and improve your job search experience.
Usage data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, time spent, search queries, contacts revealed, and outreach messages generated. We also collect device information (browser type, operating system) and IP address.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze how the Service is used. We use third-party analytics services, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand usage patterns and improve the Service. hiringreach.com also uses the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visited, so we can measure our ads and show HiringReach ads to people who have visited this site. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland or Quebec (going by the location Cloudflare sees for their connection) are asked first, and the Meta Pixel only loads if they accept. Our Google Analytics is also linked to Google Ads, so Google can measure our ads and show them to people who visited this site; for visitors in those places, Google's ad cookies and ad audiences wait for the same Accept. Clarity records anonymised session activity such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and masks text you type by default. We also use PostHog to see which pages and features are used. Visits to hiringreach.com are anonymous until you sign in to the app. From then on, PostHog links your activity on hiringreach.com and in the app to your email address, including earlier visits from the same browser, so we can see how people move from the website to using HiringReach. Signing out ends that link. If you enter your email before checkout, PostHog also records that checkout step under your email. PostHog does not record your screen.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service — Generating personalized outreach, analyzing your resume, discovering contacts, tracking your pipeline, and delivering your 90-day sprint experience.
- To personalize your experience — Tailoring AI-generated content to your background, target roles, and preferences.
- To process payments — Billing, invoicing, and managing your subscription.
- To communicate with you — Sending account notifications, product updates, and responding to support requests. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- To improve the Service — Analyzing usage patterns, fixing bugs, and developing new features.
- To enforce our terms — Preventing abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment processing — We share billing information with our payment processor to process your subscription payments.
- Analytics — We share usage data with analytics providers to understand how the Service is used. Website visits are anonymous until you sign in; after that, your activity on the website and in the app, including earlier visits from the same browser, is linked to your email in PostHog. The checkout step is also recorded under the email you enter there.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — If HiringReach is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share your resume, outreach messages, or career data with employers, recruiters, or other third parties unless you explicitly direct us to do so.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
Data retention
We retain your account information and data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — Request that we delete your personal information.
